For a number of years we have been involved in leadership of the NZ Japan Society of Auckland Inc and for 3 years I was a Director of Sister Cities New Zealand, an international people to people organisation. Through these associations I have helped organise and run many events involving local and international artists and exponents. As a result I have driven car and van-loads of travellers around Auckland’s scenic attractions to and from airport to hotel etc. We frequently organised group trips to events in Rotorua and the Coromandel and have also organised trips to the Waikato, Taranaki, BoP, Hawkes Bay and the Bay of Islands. Similarly we’ve flown a group to Dunedin and I’ve driven them around parts of Otago travelling up to Mt Cook, while taking in the sights along the way. I’m an engaging person and being reasonably knowledgable and inquisitive, I seek out the best experiences to suit individuals and groups. I have a clean driver license, confident, defensive and responsible when on the road with years of experience on some of New Zealand’s windier roads. My wife Kumiko and I own a large home and lifestyle property, which we manage as a Bed & Breakfast about 40 minutes north of Auckland on the Mahurangi Peninsula.
